چکیده

Abstract NUSES is a new space mission aiming to test innovative observational and technological approaches related the study of low energy cosmic gamma rays, high astrophysical neutrinos, Sun-Earth environment, Space weather magnetosphere-ionosphere-lithosphere coupling (MILC). The satellite will host two payloads, named TERZINA ZIRÉ. ZIRÉ perform measurements electrons, protons light nuclei from few up hundreds MeV, also testing tools for detection MeV photons, monitoring MILC signals. observe Cherenkov produced by EAS generated ray primaries at very energies monitor emissions Earth limb in near UV visible ranges ns time scale, thus concept detecting skimming neutrinos. scientific objectives development status be presented.

The Space Interferometry Mission

The Space Interferometry Mission (SIM) will be 10-m Michelson interferometer in Earth-trailing solar orbit. AS a part of NASA's Origins program, it will be the first space-based optical interferometer designed for precision astrometry. As well as enabling forefront astronomical science, SIM will serve as a technology pathfinder for future Origins missions, such as the Terrestrial Planet Finder ...

The Science of Pamela Space Mission

Many different mechanisms can contribute to antiprotons and positrons production, ranging from conventional reactions up to exotic processes like neu-tralino annihilation. The open problems are so fundamental (i.e.: is the universe symmetric in matter and antimatter ?) that experiments in this field will probably be of the greatest interest in the next years. Here we will summarize the present ...

Gravitational Microlensing with the Space Interferometry Mission

The Space Interferometry Mission (SIM), with its launch date planned for 2005, has as its goal astrometry with ∼ 1 μ arcsecond accuracy for stars as faint as 20th mag. If the SIM lives to expectations it can be used to measure astrometric displacements in the light centroid caused by the gravitational microlensing in the events detected photometrically from the ground. The effect is typically ∼...

Gaia Space Mission and Quasars

Quasars are often considered to be point-like objects. This is largely true and allows for an excellent alignment of the optical positional reference frame of the ongoing ESA mission Gaia with the International Celestial Reference Frame. But presence of optical jets in quasars can cause shifts of the optical photo-centers at levels detectable by Gaia. Similarly, motion of emitting blobs in the ...

THEMIS Mission Networks Expansion – Adding the Deep Space Network for the ARTEMIS Lunar Mission Phase

THEMIS is a five-spacecraft constellation launched in 2007 to study magnetospheric phenomena leading to the aurora borealis. During the primary mission phase, completed in the fall of 2009, all five spacecraft collected science data in synchronized, highly elliptical Earth orbits. For an ambitious mission extension, the Project proposed to split the constellation into two parts – THEMIS-Low and...
